The Ministry of Education (MoE), Taiwan had approved the Indian Students Internship Sponsorship Program (TEEP-India) for a project in IoT and Mobile Edge Computing.
The program will recruit three students from India and the period will be for four months. Students will conduct supervised research on areas in and related to Internet of Things, Mobile edge Computing, Multimedia, Mobile edge Caching mechanism, Vehicle to Vehicle Communication.

Deadline to Enter Taiwan: Students should enter Taiwan within December 09, 2017 for their 4 month project.
Department of Students: Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology
Skills required: C, C ++ and other programming language skills would be a plus.
A maximum of NT$15,000 per month per student will be provided. The money can be used to pay for the dormitory fees or as stipend for students. The Office of International Affairs (OIA) will allow these students to come to NIU as Visiting Students. For your reference, a copy of short-term Visiting Students guideline prepared by OIA of NIU for applying student visa and dormitory is attached. Note that dormitory spaces are limited and have to be approved in advance by Office of Student Affairs.
The TEEP-India Student List form have to be filled by the student and forwarded by the Head of Department to Dean IAR (International & Alumni Relations) on or before 25th September 2017.
Note that students can plan to arrive in Taiwan as late as Dec. 09, 2017.
Students will be selected based on a SKYPE interview. Students with good writing skills in English will be preferred.

The students will be receiving a Stipend of Maximum NT$ 15000 per month (upto 4 months), from which they have to pay the NIU visiting student fee (if any), dormitory fee, materials for their work and other miscellaneous expenses (if any).
In addition, the student have to pay the round-trip flight fare and visa expenditure by themselves.
